A longboarder’s closest calls over ten years of shooting

Lonboarder Josh Neuman assembled this collection of his 10 closest calls while shooting his longboarding over 10 years. What he states about his primary closest call:

What Happened: While on a production shoot we had among the team members drive down prior to us and obstruct off the roadway for one minute at a time while we skated down the mountain. We were hurrying to beat the sundown and get as much video as possible while the lighting was excellent so our interaction about where precisely the cars and truck was expected to be obstructing off the roadway was substandard. As you see in the video, the outcome is us needing to swerve off to the side of the roadway to prevent striking the automobile that was parked approximately 200 feet closer than it ought to’ve been. We never ever enter into the opposite lane on a blind turn unless we have walkie talkies and/or a spotter letting us understand the roadway is clear

It’s great to understand he really has a group and spotters and all that, however it’s still insane how little security he’s using. Even with all the preventative measures, there’s no chance I would be doing this without using complete bike armor and covering myself with adequate pillows to appear like Michelin Man cosplay.

Keep opting for the complete video.
